What spectrum is worth: a comparables model
The eight public benchmarks as a workbook you can drive: enter a band, a bandwidth and a population, and it returns the range the comparables support.

Who it is for
Anyone arriving at a number before an auction or a transaction: carriers, investors, corporate development.
What is in it
- Eight benchmarks in dollars per MHz-POP, each with the arithmetic, the source, the basis and the caveat that qualifies it
- A model that takes your band, bandwidth and population and returns a range from the comparables that apply
- The Auction 105 county detail: the median, the weighted average, and the eight counties that show why a national average misleads for five markets in six
- A sanity check against a number you already have in mind
What it will not do
It refuses to value low band. There is no clean US low-band benchmark in the public record, so selecting low band returns the reason rather than a figure.
