Telecommunications, AI and business strategy
From diagnosis to first offering.
Blue Prysm is a small consultancy working where telecommunications, AI and business strategy meet. We start by establishing what is true, work the options through a business model and a test with real buyers, and stay until a first offering is in the market with your team running it. In partnership, to the point of revenue, not to the point of a report.
01 Where we work
The three fields we work across
Ask whether a carrier should build for 6G and the first questions are commercial: what it would sell, to whom, and what the last cycle cost. The next ones are about AI, because most of what 6G promises is software. Only then does it become a radio question. So we work the three fields together rather than handing the answer from one to the next.
Telecommunications
We work on 6G and the road to it, on non-terrestrial networks and direct-to-device, on integrated sensing, on spectrum and capacity, and on the economics of the network underneath all of them.
Artificial intelligence
We look for the places where AI changes the cost or the revenue of an operating business, rank the candidates by what it costs to find out, and prove the first ones in production before anyone scales them.
Business strategy
We take a new product or offering from where the demand is, through what it is worth and what it costs to serve, to which of your assets makes it defensible.
02 How the work runs
Five stages
- 01
Diagnosis
We establish what is true about the market, the asset and the constraint, and write down the evidence for each.
- 02
Ideation
We lay out the options worth testing, including the ones that challenge the current plan.
- 03
Business model design
We settle the price, the unit economics, the channel and the shape of the offer before anything is built.
- 04
Market testing
We put the offer in front of real buyers before it is built, so a weak idea fails cheaply.
- 05
Initial offering
We launch a first commercial offering in the market, with your team running it.
The difference
Most consultancies stop at the recommendation. The value is in the three stages after it.
A strategy deck transfers an opinion. We transfer a working offer, a tested price and a team that can run it. That means staying in the room while it is commercialised, and carrying some of the risk of being wrong.
03 Thought leadership
Every figure we publish carries its source and its date
We read the filings rather than the press releases, and we publish what we find. Six series are out, thirty-five parts in all, on direct-to-device, 6G, integrated sensing, AI in telecom operations, non-terrestrial networks, and private networks and neutral host. Each part asks one question and answers it from the licence file, the SEC filing, the auction result, the standards report or the statute, and each says what it does not cover.

Rent or own: what spectrum costs
SpaceX leases 10 MHz of paired PCS G block from a carrier today and has agreed to pay $19.6B for 65 MHz of its own. That is six and a half times the bandwidth and no landlord, at a price within 4% of what the C-band auction cleared at per MHz-POP. The second-step closing is expected in November 2027.

Who can afford to play
The three national carriers generated $105.4B of operating cash flow in FY2025 and had $33.8B left once the network and the shareholders had been paid, against about $337B of net debt.

What does spectrum cost?
Give it a band, a market and a bandwidth and it returns what comparable spectrum has cleared at, with the auction result behind every figure.

Thirty-five parts in six series, each series also as an ebook, with the tools and the journal.
04 Framework library
Put 132 strategy frameworks to work on your own business
The library runs from SWOT and Porter’s Five Forces to Wardley mapping and spectrum valuation. Each framework tells you when to use it, takes you through it question by question and works out the answer as you type. The result exports as a PowerPoint deck, a Word document or an Excel workbook, and nothing you enter leaves your browser.

A diagnosis is a short, paid piece of work that establishes what is true before anyone commits to a direction. Sometimes the answer is to leave the plan as it is, and when it is, that is what the written answer says.
